HELPING YOU FIND YOUR PATH TO A HAPPIER, more BALANCED, AND REWARDING LIFE.
Hi! I’m Maggie Supernova, the Burnout Prevention and Recovery Coach for people who feel like they need to get hit by a bus to take a break. I help overwhelmed, stressed out, burnt out people find balance, meaning and joy in their lives again - just like I have!
2025 update:
As of summer 2025, I am taking a break from my business. I am back in full-time education, ‘skilling up’ academically and qualification-ally in order to get deeper into this work around chronic stress and burnout, along with a whole manner of other aspects of mental health and well-being that contribute.
I am also prioritising the needs of my family while I am in a position to do so and giving more time to the care of my grandmother who is living with Alzheimer’s and dementia.
For the foreseeable, I will not be offering online or IRL classes, or taking on new coaching clients. I will have some availability for ongoing and existing clients, and I will of course still be available via email, albeit less readily than before. I won’t be on Instagram or Facebook very much.
What I will be doing is writing! I will be posting personal essays on Substack, which you can subscribe to for free in order to keep tabs on me. I would love to see you there.
what is burnout?
COMPLETE EXHAUSTION
This is not just being tired. This is complete and utter physical and emotional exhaustion. When you go to bed tired, you wake up tired, and you just can’t seem to get good rest.
‘Burnout doesn’t heal itself after one relaxing weekend.’ Dr Jenn Hardy
LOSS OF PASSION
Often when we Burnout, we lose our passion for the thing that used to drive us and define us. Apathy and disconnection are ways of distancing ourselves from the thing we loved that has turned against us.
Losing our passion is really scary. We’re left not knowing who we are, what drives us.
POOR PERFORMANCE
It may not even actually be poor performance, it might just feel like it. But the reality is that often, when we’re exhausted, we’re disconnected and apathetic - we aren’t as good at doing what we do as a result.
You can do anything. But not everything.
